Q: What types of wood is your furniture made from?
A: Our furniture is made from various wood species including pine, oak, maple, parawood, alder, cherry, quarter sawn white oak and elm.
Q: What is parawood?
A: Parawood is a sustainably harvested hardwood from Southeast Asia, also known as rubberwood. The trees are tapped for latex and later harvested to make lumber for furniture as well as other wood products. New trees are planted in place of the harvested trees, making parawood one of the world's most renewable woods sources. Parawood has a light color and tight grain making it easy to stain or paint.
Q: Where is your furniture made / do you make the furniture at your facility?
A: We offer furntiture that is made in the USA, Mexico and Vietnam. We are a retail furniture store and do no manufacture any of our furniture
Q: Do you offer finishing of your products?
A: Yes, we have an in house finish shop located at our store in Sanford, NC. We offer a variety of professional stains and paints to choose from. We also offer custom stain matching and can match your existing furniture, if desired.
Q: Do you RE-finish furniture or finish items not purchased from your store?
A: No, we do not refinish furniture or finish items that were not purchases from us. Also, we do not finish items that were previously purchased from us.
